NPC backer timeframe?

For those of us who backed at the NPC level, how's the progress going for the conversion into NPCs?

If it's going to be a surprise, I don't want to ruin it... but I was curious if we'd be seeing those in the alpha build, or if it will be later!

    We'll definitely be seeing some NPCs in the alpha build! We've got them in the game already, but we still have a lot more of them to make!

    Maybe we'll tease them a bit more in the next update!

    I am so excited to see what NPC ideas the community has come up with and how the developers have tackled the designs (including mine!) :D Wish the team the best of luck in making them all extra awesome!

    @Harijuana7 Awesome...! I think I remember what I submitted... we'll see if the team has fun with it. I think I also submitted a picture with a beard (since shaved), so that'll be fun, too.

    I just looked at the backer page, looks like there should be around 36 folks.... that's going to be great!

    I wish I could've had a reward so awesome as having an NPC of me in the game. But to everyone that did back to that, that is insane. Hope we all get to encounter them at some point. :)
